Cheap Beer & a Sparkplug
Irvine Meadows West RV Park, Irvine, California
August, 1990
In the early 90s, the cheapest possible beer was Schaefer's, but
if you were willing to spend an extra 20 cents for a 12-pack, you could
wrap your grease-blackened hand around a room-temperature can of the finest
piss-weak yellow Cleveland-style beer around: Burgermeister. By the
time the swap was through, we'd been through quite a few cans of Burgie,
plus many gallons of garden-hose-flavored Trailer Tap Water.
