On Route 666

Here's the Impala fully loaded for our 2500-mile move from San Francisco to Atlanta.  Note the on-the-bump-stops sagging rear (and that's with a set of new heavy-duty rear springs!) and to-the-rafters rear seat load.  The car managed to get 17 MPG on the trip.  The temperature never dropped below 100 degrees during the day anywhere during our trip.  I'm not joking about Highway 666- it's real.  We had to take it once I saw it on the map.
