Right Rear
This view gives you a good look at the quarter-panel rust-through, which
I discovered when I chiseled off the aluminum trim strips off the car.
The extra-trick part about this feature is that big chunks of metal and
trash from the trunk fly off when the car hits a bump, adding immeasurably
to the sheer wretchedness of the car. Also visible is the spot near
the lower RH corner of the rear glass where I used JB Weld and beer-can
aluminum to patch the standard GM rust around the window edge. Above
the rotted quarter-panel is the fresh black spray-paint (all paint eventually
fades to a dim gray on this car) I used to hit the hole where a tie-down
once lived.
