Parked With the Trailers
Irvine Meadows West RV Park, Irvine, California
February, 1990
Let's face it, wretched full-size American cars go with trailer parks the
way guns go with Texas. Note the segment of welded-steel sculpture
near the rear wheel; later, the finished 25-foot-tall
sculpture would be anchored with the soon-to-be-yanked 283
engine block still in the car at the time of this photo. Also
note the shanty-town-style plywood-and-corrugated-steel construction of
the sheds next to the trailers in the background.
